Formed 1 Mar 1942 in Ploesti from Stab/Flak-Brigade III. In May 1942 transferred to Southern Russia, HQ Mariupol, to support the 17th Armee. Later supported the 1st Panzer-Armee (from Oct 1942?) for operations in the Caucasus (HQ Maikop) with:

• Stab/Flak-Regiment 7
• Stab/Flak-Regiment 104
• Luftnachrichten-Abteilung 135

1943/44 operations in South Russia, and Bessarabia (Romania), supporting Heeresgruppe Südukraine, later Heeresgruppe Süd.

In Sep 1944 absorbed the remnants of the 5th Flak-Division, and withdrew into Hungary. Remained in Hungary until the end, and ended the war at Stuhlweissenburg.
