7. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division - Parachute Division

Formed 9 Oct 1944 from Fallschirm-Jäger-Division Erdmann, and initially operated the same units.
On 30 Nov 1944 the division was organised as follows:
Due to heavy losses, Luftwaffen-Festungs-Bataillone XXIV and XXVIII, was absorbed by the division on 20 Feb 1945. The division capitulated to British forces in the Oldenburg area, in May 1945.
