• Stab/Flak-Regiment 30 in Cherbourg
• Luftnachrichten-Abteilung 129

In January 1942 moved to Southern Russia, and was responsible for the entire Heeresgruppe Süd area until May 1942 (with Stab/Flak-Regiments 37,42,91 and 104), when the division became attached to 6th Armee.

Most of the division was destroyed in Stalingrad, but part of the HQ was flown out, and the division was reformed 7 Feb 1943 in the Crimea from the remnants, and now controlled:

• III./8, III./43, I./Lehr-Versuchs-Abteilung FAS, 3./321, 4./850 and 2./728 (also II./43 and Flak-Abt. Rostow for a short time).
