Formation ordered 8th November 1943, and was to be completed by 1st February 1944.

Provided replacement troops for the II. Fallschirm-Korps and the 2nd and 3rd Fallschirm-Jäger Divisions.

Stationed at Stendal in January 1945.

Renamed Fallschirm-Genesenden-Bataillon 2 in February 1945.
