On 16 Jan 1940 redesignated Flugzeugführerschule A/B 116 (FFS A/B 116). In mid-1943 absorbed another FFS A/B, and became a Doppelschule, now as FFDS A/B 116.
On 15 Oct 1943 redesignated Flugzeugführerdoppelschule A 116 (FFDS A 116).
On 17 Dec 1944 renamed Flugzeugführerschule A 116.
Disbanded 26 Apr 1945.
