Formed 1 Jan 1941 in Neukuhren as FFS A/B 125, from Schule/

Due to Operation Barbarossa, no flying training was conducted between 11 Jun 1941 and 29 Jul 1941.

In Aug 1943 absorbed FFS A/B 11 (as II. Gruppe), and became a Doppelschule, now as FFDS A/B 125.

On 15 Oct 1943 redesignated Flugzeugführerdoppelschule A 125 (FFDS A 125).

On 17 Dec 1944 renamed Flugzeugführerschule A 125.

Disbanded 15 Mar 1945. The remnants were involved in ground combat near Quedlinburg-Thale during April 1945.

Used the following aircraft: Ar 66, Ar 68, Ar 96, Bu 131, Bu 181, C.445, Fiat L3, Fw 44, Fw 58, Grunau Baby, He 46, He 50, Kl 35, Kranich, Ro 41, SG 38 and W.34
