Flugzeugführerschule A/B 72
Kommandeure:
Formed 1 Aug 1937 in Detmold as FFS A Detmold (from Fliegerübungsstelle Detmold, formed 1 Jan 1936). On 1 Nov 1938 became FFS A/B Detmold, and on 1 Apr 1939 Schule/FAR.72, attached to Flieger-Ausbildungs-Regiment 72.
In Mar 1940 parts of Schule/FAR.72, was used to form FFS A/B 113.
On 1 Oct 1941 redesignated Flugzeugführerschule A/B 72 (FFS A/B 72), and on 15 Oct 1943 redesignated Flugzeugführerschule A 72.
Disbanded 15 Mar 1945.
Used the following aircraft: Ar 66, Ar 68, Ar 96, Bu 131, Bu 181, Fiat L3, Fw 44, Fw 58, Go 145, Grunau Baby, Kl 35, Kranich, Meise, Rhönadler, SG 38 and W.34
