3./Fl.Erg.Gr.(See) became 4./Fl.Erg.Gr.(See) in Feb 1941; 3./Fl.Erg.Gr.(See) was reformed 25 Jun 1941 in Kamp with Ju 88A. Became attached to KGr.506 on 9 Sep 1941, and was redesignated Erg.Sta./KGr.506 on 15 Sep 1941.

Parts of 4./Fl.Erg.Gr.(See) was used to form 2./Aufkl.Gruppe (See) 125 on 1 Apr 1941.

Disbanded 3 Oct 1944, and:

1. Staffel became Erg.Kustenfliegerstaffel (F)
2. and 4. Staffel was united as Erg.Kusten-Nahaufkl. und Bordfliegerstaffel
