Formed Jan 1944 in France, first as training unit (Ausbildung), and later as a replacement unit (Ersatz).

From Jul 1944 both Ersatz- und Ausbildung Btl. with 4 companies.

Jan 1945 was stationed at Ütersen, Luftgau XI.

On 5 Apr 1945 was used to create the Fallschirm-Pionier-Regiment 20.
