Formed Mar 1940 in Germany with Ju 52 transports:

1./KGrzbV102 new

3./KGrzbV102 new
4./KGrzbV102 new

Partly disbanded 5 May 1940 and all the aircraft were transferred to the training schools. The Stab remained.

Reformed Feb 1941 in the Berlin area with:

3./KGrzbV102 new
4./KGrzbV102 new

In Apr 1941 2./KGrzbV 102 became 1./KGrzbV 105, and was reformed in the same month.

4./KGrzbV 102 was disbanded Oct 1941, but was reformed from 4./KGrzbV 105 during the same month.

In Apr 1942 3./KGrzbV 102 became 1./KGrzbV 106, and was reformed from 3./KGrzbV 104.

In May 1943 redesignated III./TG3 with :

1./KGrzbV102 became 9./TG3
2./KGrzbV102 became 10./TG3
3./KGrzbV102 became 11./TG3
4./KGrzbV102 became 12./TG3
