Formed 26 Aug 1939 in Schweinfurt from parts of I./Flak-Regiment 19 with 5 Batterien (1. - 3. schwere, 4 - 5. leichte). Until Jul 1942 known as Reserve-Flak-Abteilung 192.
In 1943 reorganised as a schwere Flak-Abteilung:
4./gem.192 became 1./723, and was reformed from 3./304
5./gem.192 was destroyed in Tunisia (May 1943)
In 1944 2./s.192 was disbanded and was reformed from 3./574, 4./s.192 was disbanded, and was reformed from 4./574.
Disbanded in late 1944:
1./s.192 became 5./304
2./s.192 became 5./361
3./s.192 became 6./304
4./s.192 became 6./361
Service:
* 5./gem.192 to Tunisia Nov 1942 (Dec 1942 at Gabes and Apr 1943 at Mezzouna)
** 2 batteries on Elba (attached to 1. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division)
