In Mar 1943 4./Aufkl.Gruppe ObdL was absorbed by the 1. Staffel.

In Feb 1944 2./Versuchsverband ObdL (known as Rosarius Zirkus) became 1./KG200, and was reformed May 1944. In the same month 3. Staffel absorbed the Versuchsstaffel/ObdL.

In Jul 1944 renamed Versuchsverband OKL. Disbanded Apr 1945.

Used many different aircraft, incl.: Ar 234, Ar 240, Bf 109, Bf 110, Bu 181, BV 141, Do 335, Fh 104, Fw 58, Ju 86, Ju 88, Ju 188, Ju 290, Ju 388, Me 262, Me 410 and many captured allied aircraft.
