Photo 01-02: So it has been decided to by my friends to label the above photo's as Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-1 10.ErgGr3 (B2+I) Gefr. Raoul Fink WNr 3395 belly landed Brombos 'Rue de la Gare' Stkz. P?+A?
Photograph Source: Flugzeug Classic and copyright by Sammlung Dirk Eickholt
Email's from Luftwaffe ExpertsThe Schwarze 2 belly landing area has been described in Flugzeug Classic by "Feuquières". Knowing nothing I told you that it was most probably Feuquières-en-Vimeu .. I was wrong. It is effectively Feuquières, Oise departement! Brombos, where 10./JG 3 was stationned, is at 3kms crow flight from Feuquières!!!! Hence FC caption was very good! So, 10./JG 3 definitely, Erg.Gr. 10./JG 3 TO took the picture.
More: Prien writes Rue (???) and Kracker writes Rue Bahnhof (???) is it a village name? Where? the answer is NOT AT ALL. Running slightly NNE from Brombos is a straight road, we can see behind the tree's line on both pictures, which is called "Rue de la Gare" that is "Rue Bahnhof" '!) strange French-German mix!!!
Thence: We have the place: Brombos, Rue de la Gare, the Unit 10./JG 3, Erg.Gr., the name Fink and not Finks, that is Gefr. Raoul Fink. Date 11 March 1941. Bruch 85%. and it's an E-1 (Cf Prien not Kracker) WNr.3395. As for the Stkz it is more probably PZ+AH (D's suggestion)
Last since it's Brombos area it cannot be the loss Fink suffered later in Röm Island (Denmark).
The very last ... 3395 was flown by Bielefeldt, Werner. Uffz. of 1./JG 20 and pictured 12/1939 at Döberitz. The plane did wear Weisse 7. So, I won't bet a penny for PZ+AH Stkz. As I already wrote "P" I agree, "Z" why not?... could be a "2" too. But it appears now that could be a "7". I will write P?+A?, no more.
That's all folks!!!
Hi Guys,
Globally it seems this is quite correct.
BUT!!!
It appears there is a village named "RUE" close to Desvres. Rue village doesn't appear when googling ... I already sent a mail to Prien expecting an answer soon! It will change nothing and I'm quite sure that the crash did happen Rue de la gare, Brombos.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-4 2./EG3 (R7+-) landing accident Krakow, Poland
Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4 of 2./Erg.Gr. JG3, Krakow, Poland, 1941 Finished in an 02/71. scheme with the Blue 65 fuselage darkened with random patches of 02 and 71., this aircraft still carries the red '7' and Gruppe bar of an earlier unit, to which has been added the dice emblem of 2./Erg. Gr. JG3.
Messerschmitt Bf 109E 2./EG3 (R7+-) Landing accident Krakow, Poland April 25, 1941 01
Photo 01: As with many single-engined aircraft, the long engine cowling and relatively low position of the pilot combined to produce a blind spot immediately ahead and below. From the position of these aircraft, photographed at Krakow in Poland after a collision on 25 April 1941, it would seem that the Bf 109E of Erg. Gr.JG3 collided with the Ju52 for precisely that reason.
