Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6, Black chevron 1, pilot natporucnik Mato Dukovac, November 1943. In September 1943, Dukovac was appointed the CO of the reorganized 15. Kroat./JG 52. On February 25, 1944, he accomplished his 250th combat sortie. At the end of February his score achieved 36 enemy aircraft. In mid-March, having amassed some 300 missions, he became the most successful Croatian fighter pilot, as his score was 40 victories (according to some sources he achieved 37 confirmed and 5 unconfirmed victories). A standard scheme of RLM 75/75/76.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2, Black double chevron 1, pilot potpukovnik Franjo Dial, summer 1942. From the beginning of August the Zrakoplovna skupina Dial was operated within the Luftflotte 4 under the designation 15. Kroat./JG 52, even though its structure was not in accordance with the Luftwaffe standard. The aircraft was painted in RLM 74/75/76.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2 (W.Nr. 13 436), "Black 1", 10th lovacko jato, pilot zapovjednik of jato potpukovnik Franjo Dzal. On July 26, 1942, ten Croatian fighter pilots arrived at Taganrog (Pl.Q. 88331), where the l./JG 52 was also based at that time. Next day Croats achieved at least two confirmed victories, one of which was claimed by potpukovnik Dzal, flying "Black 1 However, he did not fly many sorties with this mount. On July 28 later he was outnumbered by Soviet fighters, which shot him down over Shamshijev town. The pilot had to carry out a force landing on the Soviet territory. After a distressful journey he made it back to his unit. The Messerschmitt was applied a scheme of RLM 74/75/76.

Po nekolika minutach boje byl stroj zasazen do motoru a Dzal musel nouzove pristat na uzemi obsazenem Sovety. Po case se mu podafilo dostat k nemeckym liniim a vratit se zpatky k litvaru. Messerschmitt nesl kamuflazni schema tvorene barvami RLM 74/75/76.

"Das Kanonenboot", Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2 (W.Nr 13 577), "Black 11", fitted with two MG 151/20 guns, Riistsatz R6. Bojnik Vladimir Ferencina carried out an emergency landing with this bird near Krymskaja on August 26, 1942. The plane was swiftly repaired, and the very next day it was transferred with the rest of 15. Kroat./JG 52 to Jelisavjetinskaja airfield. Paradoxically, Ferencina crashed with this aircraft during take-off on the same day. The pilot was not injured, however, overall damage was stated,as 65 %, and the machine was dispossessed of Dial’s group. The plane originally wore a standard scheme of RLM 74/75/76, later on, non-standard light gray, dark gray and green spots were additionally applied.

Pilot vyvazl bez zraneni, poskozeni letounu bylo ohodnoceno na 65 % a stroj byl ze stavu skupiny vyrazen. Letoun puvodne nesl standardni kamuflazni schema RLM 74/75/76, doplnene pozdeji nestandardnimi skvrnami svetle sede, tmave sede a zelene barvy. Stroj byl puvodne vybaven tropickym fdtrem.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 (W.Nr. 15 770), 15. Kroat./JG 52. On November 25, 1943. narednik Albin Sval carried out an emergency landing with this aircraft in the sector Pl.Q. 36452, as he ran out of fuel. Overall damage was stated as 35%. The mount belonged to the batch, which was in production in the period from March to August 1943, and was converted from the G-5 to G-6 standard in the WNF plants. Of note is an armour plate of an earlier typeattached on the canopy.
