Profile 0A-0B: This Focke-Wulf Fw 200C-8/U4 Condor possibly of KG40 coded +CT surrendered at Braunschwieig, Germany May 1945. It carried the standard splinter camouflage pattern in RLM 72/73 greens on the upper surfaces with RLM 65 light blue underneath. The individual letter 'C' was painted black with a yellow.

Profile 0A: This Focke-Wulf Fw 200C-4 Condor of KG40 coded F8+H when based at Stavangar Norway July 1944. It carried the standard splinter camouflage pattern in RLM 72/73 greens on the upper surfaces with RLM 65 light blue underneath. The full unit code of the aircraft was painted with F8+H either side of the Balkenkreuz. The individual letter 'H' was painted black with a white outline.

Profile 0A: This Focke-Wulf Fw 200C-4 Condor of KG40 coded F8+N and was fitted with FuG Rostock radar aerials in 1943. It carried the standard splinter camouflage pattern in RLM 72/73 greens on the upper surfaces with RLM 65 light blue underneath. The full unit code of the aircraft was painted with F8+N either side of the Balkenkreuz. The individual letter 'N' was painted black with a yellow outline and yellow spinners. This aircraft may have been a one-off test aircraft for the radar system.

Focke-Wulf Fw 200C Condor Stab I./KG40 (F8AB) France 1940 0A-0B

Profile 0A: This Focke-Wulf Fw 200C-3/U2 Condor of Stab I./KG 40, W.Nr. 0043, coded F8+AB carried the standard splinter camouflage pattern in RLM 72/73 greens on the upper surfaces with RLM 65 light blue underneath. The full unit code of the aircraft was painted under the wings, with F8 either side of the Balkenkreuz on the starboard side and with 'A+B' on the port side. Note also the dark staining from the engine exhausts on the wings and flaps. The markings under the wing have been applied along the centre line of the main spar. The individual letter 'A' was painted in the Stab colour green and the 'World in a Ring' emblem of KG 40 was painted on the nose.

Photo's 01-02: Pictures of Focke-Wulf Fw 200C-3/U2 Condor of 1./KG40, WNr.0043, coded FS+AB of the Stab Flight of KG40 shows the aircraft again in-flight, with final squadron codes and mission kill markings on the fin and rudder. The veteran Ritterkreuztrager, Hauptmann Fritz Fliegel was lost with his crew in this aircraft due to ships' flak in the Atlantic on 18 July 1941.

Photo 01: A view of the Focke-Wulf Fw 200C-3 Condor coded F8+DB, of I./KG40 which must have chilled the heart of many an Allied seaman who saw this view, roars overhead. The aircraft shows pronounced wear from its maritime role. Note the heavy exhaust staining and panel lines under the fuselage nose which have been repainted in a primer finish.

Photo 01: Flying low over the sea is Focke-Wulf Fw 200C-5 Condor of III./KG 40 WNr. 0218, coded F8+CD factory call sign TA+MT, flown by Oblt Joachim Ohm of the Stab Flight of III./KG 40. Built in 1943, it was destroyed in a crash near Trondheim on 14 August 1944. As a Gruppen Stab aircraft the letter 'C' was painted black and thinly outlined in green. The aircraft carries a splinter pattern of RLM nn3 with RLM 65 underneath. It also appears that the spinner tips were also painted in the green Stab color.
