Photo 01: This photo of W.Nr 623185 shows the Schräge Musik cannon's installed just behind the cockpit canopy more clearly.
Photo 01: Ju 88G was assigned to the II./NJG100 and coded (W7+AC). This aircraft has a side by side Schräge Musik cannon installed just behind the cockpit canopy. One of several variations used against the RAF night bombers. The gun had an ammunition load of up to 500 round per gun.

Photo 01: This Junkers Ju 88G-6, W7+IH, formerly operated by 1./NJG 100, is shown here with improvised American markings on the fin and fuselage. The pilot had just arrived at Lechfeld on May 7, 1945, following a flight from Czechoslovakia. Camouflage consisted of Light Green 83 and Olive Green 81 uppersurfaces, with Light Blue 76 lower surfaces. Note the FuG 218 Neptun VIR with combined AI tail radar antennae.
Profile 00: Ju 88G was assigned to the 2./NJG100 and coded (W7+AC). This aircraft has a side by side Schräge Musik cannon installed just behind the cockpit canopy.
Photo 01: Another Junkers Ju 88G-6, almost certainly coded W7+LN, of 5./NJG100. Note that this machine has no 'Naxos' equipment installed as both aircraft were operating on the Eastern Front where 'Naxos', which homed onto the 'H2S' emissions from RAF aircraft, would not normally be required. This aircraft differs from that shown in having green 70 spinners and propeller blades.

Photo 01: Ground personnel preparing a Ju 88G-6 aircraft of NJG100 for a sortie in the autumn of 1944. This aircraft almost certainly belonged to 5. Staffel which, at the time the photograph is thought to have been taken, was stationed in Hungary. Note the radar aerials angled at 45 degrees and the 76 spinners and that this machine has no 'Naxos' equipment installed.
