FM-2 Wildcat VC-93 White 20 aboard CVE-80 USS Petrof Bay Okinawa 1945 01

US Navy Pilot Lt(jg) Hatherly Foster III. VC-93 had 30 aircraft 18xFM-2 Wildcat's and 12xTBM-3 Avengers and operated from CVE-80 Petrof Bay (Iceberg) from 1945/03/10 to 1945/05/30. VC-93 performed ground attack and anti-submarine duties as well as downing 17 enemy planes during the Battle of Okinawa.
