In Mar 1942 redesignated Ersatz-Bataillon Hermann Göring in Utrecht with 6 companies and 4 batteries.
In Winter 42/43 strengthened and renamed Ersatz-Regiment Hermann Göring, now with 4 battalions.
In Jul 1944 renamed Fallschirm-Panzer-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Regiment Hermann Göring.
On 25 Jan 1945, while in Rippin/West Prussia, was divided into:
The Stab was renamed Fallschirm-Panzer-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Brigade Hermann Göring. The parts that remained in Holland was renamed Fallschirm Jäger Regiment 31 on 8 Feb 1945.
1944 stationed in Holland: Stab in Utrecht, I. in Hilversum, II. in Amsterdam, III. (artillery) in Amersfoort. IV. was stationed in Velten/Mark. Subordinated to Wehrmachtsbefehlshaber Niederlande, and from Sep 1944 1. Fallschirm-Armee.
