Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 4

Formed in Jan 1944 with only I./FAR.4. In June 1944 the I./FAR.4 and I./FAR.6 exchanged designations. Stab, II. and III./FAR.4 was formed from scratch. The new regiment never joined 4. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division, but remained in Germany and later served as Heerestruppe in France. On 8 Feb 1945 the regiment was disbanded: Stab, II. and III./FAR.4 became Stab, I. and III./FAR.3, while I./FAR.4 was redesignated Fallschirm-Artillerie-Abteilung z.b.V. Hermann Göring (serving with the Ersatz-Brigade Hermann Göring).

On 13 Mar 1945 a new regiment began forming in Luftgau IV (only Stab, II. and III./FAR.4). This regiment was not intended for the 4. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division, but served on the Eastern front.
